Words from Big James on "Funkin' Blues"

This is my 1st CD so it is very special 2 me. I was especially thankful 2 the musicians who played on it, Giles, Mark, J.R., Charlie, & the 2 musicians who didn't bother 2 show up @ the studio. Who knows maybe if they had shown up things wouldn't have turned out the way they did!

I've written a little background about some of the songs to give you an insight to where it came from:

"Da Blues Will Never Die" came out of the love I have of the music we play & 2 all of the people who played this music B4 me.

"I Wanna Know" & "All Of Your Love" were done in tribute 2 the late Johnny Christian. Who was the original leader of Da' Playboys. These were 2 of the songs he used 2 perform.

"Cosmic Slop" is 1 of my favorite funkadelic songs. That is my tribute 2 George Clinton who I personally think is the greatest.

"Playboy Party" speaks 4 itself - Ain't Nuthin' Like A Playboy Party!
